Hummel Hive

an exhibition

Two lines of vintage football shirts silhouetted against frosted glass marked the entrance to Hummel Hive, an exhibition organised by Jocks & Nerds to celebrate the launch of a new research division from the Danish sportswear brand Hummel.

The Hummel Hive division was launched in 2016 as an initiative to rework Hummel’s 90-year history in sportswear for contemporary streetwear. To celebrate its new advertising campaign, the brand held a launch party in collaboration with Jocks & Nerds at the Tack Press event space.

The event, which coincided with the Jocks & Nerds’ fifth anniversary issue launch, showcased images from Hummel’s campaign to an audience of menswear influencers, press and the magazine’s readers. All this was set against a display of Hummel’s vintage football shirts to amplify the link between the brand’s new line and its history.

Specially commissioned frames and shelves created by the London-based designer Milo Batten-Jacobs highlighted select shots from the campaign, while drinks were provided by Estrella Damm and Sailor Jerry.
